4/11/2023 EnchantaVaughn Approved 1.Behavior: QMHP-C greeted Berando upon arrival to the home setting. Upon arrival to the home, Ms. Carter reported that Berando had a good day and that she will continue to provide QMHP-C with his behaviors as they continue to appear. Mother reported that he continues to present negative behaviors such as him fighting with his siblings as well as him utilizing profanity when things do not go his way. 2. Behavior: Berando appeared to be defensive at times stating to QMHP-C that his mother does not make the rest of the people in the house clean all the time so he should not have to when his sisterâs room is messy and his younger sibling also gets on his nerves because he is three and he doesnât have to clean. 1.Behavior: During the third portion of the session, Mother reports Berando continues to struggle with being able to control his anger on a daily basis. 1.Intervention: QMHP-C probed Mrs. Carter to discuss with her what she would like for QMHP-C to work on with Berando during this session being as though he has been displaying several negative behaviors. Mrs. Carter stressed to QMHP-C that he biggest issue with Berando is him thinking that he is grown and how he is plain out disrespectful to her. QMHP-C provided Mrs. Carter with support through active listening, body language, tone, asking questions, and paraphrasing what she was discussing with QMHP-C. 2. Intervention: QMHP-C reviewed with Berando on implementing strategies on how he could learn how to take another approach as it relates to him showing disrespect towards Mrs. Carter. QMHP-C discussed with Berando on how he should show the same respect that he shows others when he wants to show them respect. 3. Intervention: QMHP-C modeled effective ways to express feelings and thoughts accordingly and engaging in respectful behaviors. QMHP-C engaged Berando in controlling his frustrations and anger control. QMHP-C taught Berando different techniques to assist him with showing feelings rather than acting out the behaviors. 1.Response: Berando appeared to be receptive to QMHP-Csâ interventions and services that were provided to him during the session. Mrs. Carter discussed with QMHP-C that Berando is given simple directives at times (i.e. clean his room, take the trash out) and he will ignore her request; however, when one of his friends asks him to engage in negative behavior he will satisfy his peer. QMHP-C processed with Berando on how he should have enough respect for his mother being as though she does attempt to meet his needs on a daily basis. 2. Response: Mrs. Carter indicated that she was getting tired of the behaviors that he is presenting. Berando verbalized to QMHP-C that he would attempt to work on improving how he disrespects his mother; however, she needs to work on how she communicates directives to him. 3. Response: Berando reported that he has been influenced by his peers as he would act out inappropriately with others. Through role-playing Berando was taught to identify his triggers and verbalize his thoughts
